MISSION LOG 61
Associated event: Terra Nova
Status: Planet Discovery_
We followed the frequency.
It led us beyond the crash site, through terrain untouched by any record we still have access to.
Then we saw the sky.
Purple clouds stretched across the atmosphere, illuminated by pink and violet auroras that never seemed to fade. The light moved slowly above us, like the entire planet was breathing.
The surface is covered in unfamiliar fauna.
Purple vegetation. Glowing spores. Trees that react when we move beneath them.
Nothing here resembles Earth.
And yet, somehow, the air is breathable.
We have named the planet Terra Nova.
A new world.
For the first time since losing contact with Earth, we found somewhere that did not feel completely dead.
But we were not the first to find it.
There were markings in the soil near the source of the frequency. Long trails carved through the landscape, leading toward structures in the distance.
We also discovered fragments from one of the hostile vessels.
The material matches the ships that attacked The Nova.
The Greys were here.
Navigation records suggest their vessels passed through the atmosphere shortly before our arrival. They could have destroyed us during descent.
They did not.
Instead, they allowed us to follow them.
The frequency is stronger here.
It moves through the ground, the plants and the air around us. At certain points, the auroras appear to pulse in time with it.
This planet is beautiful.
Too beautiful.
The Nova cannot leave yet. Repairs are ongoing, and several systems remain unstable.
Until then, we continue on foot.
The trail leads deeper into Terra Nova.
Whatever The Greys came here for…
We are getting closer to it.
