We briefly encountered the unknown entities for the first time.
Tall… thin… a distinct grey pigmentation.
Initial engagement confirmed they are not passive.
It didn't end there...
They pursued us beyond atmosphere. What followed can only be described as a sustained conflict in open space.
Hostile vessels were everywhere. Movement patterns erratic… almost like navigating through an asteroid field.
We managed to neutralise around 4 ships and withdrew. Survival was… unlikely.
The Nova has sustained critical damage. Remaining resources are limited. Repairs will require planetary descent within the next 5 minutes.
We will lay low for now. Avoid further contact.
There are still no confirmed signals from Earth.
At some point… we will have to return.
Hopefully there are more of us out there..
